Aberdeen Street Art is a group designed to improve general mental health and community engagement in the arts.
In order to “recover together and grow through art”, this group likes to research different arts practices and techniques. A small Creative Aberdeenshire Network award enabled group lead Michael Arthur to make a visit to Glasgow’s SWG3’s Yardworks, Scotland’s first purpose-built home for street arts, for some creative inspiration to bring back to Aberdeenshire. Inspired by his visit, Michael has come back to the North East with renewed energy and enthusiasm, ready to share with those around him.
