Aboyne Gym Refurbishment

Upcoming Refurbishments at Aboyne and Deeside Community Centre

We’re pleased to inform you of some upcoming improvements at Aboyne and Deeside Community Centre that will enhance your experience.

What’s happening?

• The fitness studio will undergo a full refurbishment, offering a refreshed and modern space.
• The Squash court will be removed to make space for a larger gym, which will provide a more spacious and improved fitness environment.
• The final day for gym bookings before the refurbishment will be Thursday 20th February.

When will the work take place?

Work is scheduled to begin on 24th February and is expected to last around 6 weeks. During this time, the gym will be closed.

Alternative gym access

While the gym is closed, you can use any Live Life Aberdeenshire venue. The nearest gym is Banchory Sports Village, and we recommend using this location for your workouts.

What remains open?

The pool, group exercise classes, and sports hall will continue to be available as usual during the refurbishment.

Membership adjustments

If you would prefer to freeze or downgrade your membership while the work is taking place, please contact our customer service team before 18th February.
