There are waiting lists for all swimming lessons
You will be contacted by email to be offered a space. Please add your local swimming coordinators email to your contacts

How long will I have to wait?

Timescales are variable as there are many factors. For instance how quickly current participants re-book, if contact details are up to date and the level of demand for the lesson requested.

When can I put my child's name down on the waiting list?

Adult and child

Children must have been born before applying for the waiting list
Entry to the lessons can be from birth up to school age (five years of age)
When a space is offered this space is guaranteed as long as payment is made on time
Progressions between classes can be made once the child is of age and a space becomes available
There may be a wait until a space becomes available

Preschool lessons

Children must be two and a half years of age before applying for the waiting list
Entry to the lessons is from three and a half to five years of age
When a space is offered this space is guaranteed as long as payment is made on time
Progressions to Junior lessons can be made once the child is of age and a space becomes available
There may be a wait until a space becomes available

Junior lessons

Children must be four years of age before applying for the waiting list
Entry to the lessons is from school age or five years of age
When a space is offered this space is guaranteed as long as payment is made on time
Progressions between classes can be made once the child is ready to progress and a space becomes available

How are spaces allocated?

Customers are contacted on a first come first served basis once the child is of age. An email will be sent out to offer a space and they will have seven days to respond. Spaces that are unfilled after seven days will be offered to the remaining customers on the list.

If a customer doesn't respond after being contacted on three separate occasions, they will be removed from the waiting list.

Contact may also be made by phone if there are only a small number of spaces available or if no email address has been given.
