Register for swimming lessons

Register now for swimming lessons in our facilities across Aberdeenshire. Simply select your preferred locations and the type of lessons you require - adult and child, preschool, junior, adults, lifesaving or the National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ).

Find the right lesson for your child's age and ability

Adult and child lessons

• You can apply for these lessons when your child is born
• Children can attend these lesson from birth till five years old

Preschool lessons

• You can apply for these lessons when your child is two and a half years old
• Children can attend these lesson from three and a half to five years old

Junior lessons

• You can apply for these lessons when your child is over four years old
• Children can attend these lesson from starting school or the age of five years old

Waiting list information

Once you have completed the application you will receive an automated email to confirm you have been added to the waiting list. However, please note that due to high demand for lessons, we currently have a significant backlog and increased wait times for spaces.

Unfortunately, we can't give estimated wait times, so we politely request that you don't contact us to ask about your position on the list. Please be assured we are making every effort to keep your wait time as short as possible and ask for your continued patience. Waiting times are influenced by several factors including current demand at different facilities, customer availability and speed of progression of existing participants, none of which we can control.

When a space becomes available you will be contacted and a place will be offered at one of your preferred locations. If there is no response after being contacted on three separate occasions we will presume you no longer require a place and remove you from the wait list.

If you feel your child should enter the scheme from level two upwards, please contact your local centre to arrange an assessment.
