We currently have openings within our team at Aboyne and Deeside Community Centre as well as Banchory Sports Village. Join us at our recruitment fair at Banchory Sports Village on 16th March between 12noon and 9pm to find out more. Vacancies can be applied for online or come along on the day where you can apply in person. Interviewers will be also be on hand to answer any questions and carry out interviews there and then.

This is a fantastic opportunity to pursue a career at a vibrant facility or to explore new exciting avenues. All training and mentoring are provided. We accept applicants from diverse backgrounds and previous experience is not mandatory. Good people skills and a passion for sports is recommended.

Dry Side Leisure Assistant

This entry level role is perfect for someone looking for a career in the sport and fitness industry. In this front-line service position, you will require excellent interpersonal skills and be able to deliver a high standard of customer service to ensure the safe operation of our facilities. As a Dry Leisure Assistant, you will work across a variety of venues including sports centres and town halls and will carry out tasks such as maintaining security and cleanliness of the buildings and setting up and running events providing an excellent customer experience.

Leisure Assistant

This entry level role perfect for someone looking for a career in the sport and fitness industry.  In this front-line service position, you will have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to deliver a high standard of customer service.  As well as ensuring the safety of our customers there will be an expectation to carry out additional roles such as safety checks, maintaining cleanliness and interacting with our customers. Applicants must be able to swim 50 metres in 60 seconds or under and be able to touch the bottom of the pool at the deepest part.  A swim test will be included as part of the recruitment process.

Exercise Instructor

Our team of exercise instructors are at the heart of the site programme and cater for all level of ability to offer both fun and support to our customers. Candidates are required to have experience in delivering group exercise or small group training and be able to teach at least 3 disciplines or be willing to upskill to achieve this. We are looking for candidates who currently hold qualifications in Level 2 ETM or Group Exercise, Les Mills, Yoga, Pilates, or group cycle.

Swim Instructor

Whether you are driven by enabling others or simply just passionate about swimming, being a swimming instructor is an incredibly rewarding job.  Even if you have not already obtained a recognised swim teaching qualification, but you are keen to learn, we can help.  You will become part of an already motivated team but require a willingness to learn and the ability to embrace new concepts.  The swimming instructor is responsible for the delivery of instruction in the Learn To Swim programme. This post is front line service, delivering high quality instruction in this critical lifesaving skill and providing a significant contribution to the customers experience.
