Summer Reading Challenge 2025 – Animals in Literature

Taking place from Monday 2nd June to Saturday 30th August 2025, this year’s Summer Reading Challenge celebrates Animals in Literature, marking the 100th anniversary of the first Winnie the Pooh stories, originally published in a London newspaper in December 1925.

Who can take part?

Everyone! Children, young people, families, adults, friends, and community groups are all welcome.

How to get involved:
