Heartfelt Feedback from Book Week Scotland

2019 Book Week Scotland a great success

It is clear from the feedback we received from our Book Week Scotland events that our customers loved the 2019 Book Week Scotland programme.  A total of 1207 people attended author talks, Bookbug sessions, story and craft sessions that were delivered in various venues across Aberdeenshire for all ages and interests.

Paul Murton, BBC Grand Tours of Scotland and Colin Maclachlan, SAS: Who Dares Wins and Secrets of the SAS attracted really big audiences; a total of 295 people came along to listen to their talks.

Ian Hunter, Mearns Radio, hopped onboard one of our mobile libraries as national mobile libraries day was part of the BWS national initiative too.  Ian captured comments from our readers in the south and these were aired on Mearns Radio on Thursday 21st and Friday 22nd November.  He kindly shared the fantastic comments he received that clearly demonstrates our readers in the south love reading and their mobile library.

There were so many great comments that we have had to split these into 4 instalments.

If you have enjoyed listening to the comments from our south Aberdeenshire mobile readers come back next week for the next instalment.
