Earth Hour Bookbug Sessions

Monday 25th March to Saturday 30th March
To mark Earth Hour twilight Bookbug events are taking place in a number of our libraries from 25th to 30th March. The twilight session will include a craft activity prior to Bookbug where children will make a musical shaker using recycled items to interact with the Bookbug songs and rhymes. Wind up torches and lanterns will be used during the Bookbug session as lighting will be reduced to enable us to contribute to the Earth Hour campaign.  Libraries across the shire will also have junior, young adult and adult environmental and climate themed book displays to encourage readers to find out about the impact of climate change on our planet and how we can help.

Twilight Bookbug sessions will be taking place in the following libraries:

Aboyne library Monday 25th March 5.30-6.30pm
Ellon library Tuesday 26th March 5.30-6.30pm
