Bookbug in Aberdeenshire

Bookbug sessions are free, fun, and relaxed, giving families the chance to share songs, rhymes, and stories together.

Aimed at different stages from birth to Primary 1 and last around 30 minutes to help support early language and learning.

• Enjoy time together and meet other families
• Every child in Scotland receives free Bookbug Bags – Baby, Toddler, Explorer and Primary 1 - filled with books and resources· Find out more at the Scottish Book Trust

Across Aberdeenshire, libraries, health staff, and early years settings work together to make sure every family receives their Bookbug Bag.

If you haven’t received one, you can collect a bag from any Aberdeenshire library during opening hours.
