Bookbug sessions are free, fun, and relaxed, giving families the chance to share songs, rhymes, and stories together.
Aimed at different stages from birth to Primary 1 and last around 30 minutes to help support early language and learning.
Across Aberdeenshire, libraries, health staff, and early years settings work together to make sure every family receives their Bookbug Bag.
If you haven’t received one, you can collect a bag from any Aberdeenshire library during opening hours.
Enjoy stories, songs and rhymes with your little one every day with the free Bookbug app.
The App also includes a Bookbug Session finder for your area and Bookbug for grown-ups in a separate learning area.
Join us in your local library to share a story, rhyme and song with Bookbug.
Why not explorer your local library and see what they have on offer, when you take part in Bookbug's Treasure Hunt!
