Come along to Macduff Marine Aquarium to celebrate the International Year of the Salmon with a very special evening event, exploring Scotland’s salmon: its past, present and future.

Thursday 26th September, 6.30 to 9.30pm

Hosted by the Deveron, Bogie and Isla Rivers Trust, there will be talks about the King of Fish throughout the evening.

Chat with local salmon experts, learn about the rich history of Scottish salmon fishing, current conservation practices, and see exciting footage of rarely seen salmon behaviour. Enjoy exploring the aquarium after hours. 

Speakers will include:

Marcus Walters, River Operations Manager for the Deveron Rivers Trust

Lorna Summers, a volunteer with the Portsoy Salmon Bothy and local salmon historian

Chris Conroy, Ness District Salmon Fishery Board River Director and Clerk to the Board

With host for the evening: Bernard Martin, friend to Macduff Marine Aquarium and wildlife documentary film maker
