Aberdeenshire arts centre The Barn has been facilitating a new collaboration between spoken word artist Noon Salah Eldin, Banchory's community hub Number One and community members.
Number One is a Banchory-based community hub in which learning, support and advice is offered to members of the community. Together, the three partners have delivered on a collaborative project that took the form of group-participatory creative workshops in the lead up to the Barn’s Growing Together Day event in March 2023.
Through this collaboration, The Barn, Number One and Noon Salah Eldin used poetry as the core of their ambition to strengthen connections with their communities in and around Banchory.
