Live Life Aberdeenshire provides recording studio hire and professional technical support for commercial, community and educational groups, at our studio in Mintlaw. We are open to all and offer flexible, stimulating environments, designed to support musicians and performers at all levels of skills and experience. As well as offering excellent facilities, the studio is just minutes away from Aberdeenshire’s stunning coastline and beautiful parkland.

Experienced performers are well catered for with high quality equipment, tailored technical support and flexible hire periods

• Control Room (3 persons max)
• Kitchen (accessible via stairs and chair lift)
• Wheelchair accessible

Equipment (outline list):

• Soundcraft Spirit Ghost 24LE connected to Logic X 16 input digital recording system
• Tannoy monitoring with Samsom amplifier
• Neumann, Rode and Akg microphones
• Drum kit, electric and acoustic guitar, digital piano, electric bass with amplifier, all available for use

Pricing:

• Minimum 3 hours booking
• Weekdays anytime between 9 am and 5 pm, 3 hours booking - £35 per hour
• Weekdays anytime between 9 am and 5 pm, more than 3 hours booking - £30 per hour
• Weekends and Weekdays out of hours, 3 hours booking - £40 per hour
• Weekends and Weekdays out of hours, more than 3 hours booking - £35 per hour
• Mixing and mastering services - £50 per song for both mix and mastering
