Live Life Aberdeenshire is a campaign to encourage people to take part in regular exercise and sport and enjoy it. It links to the national Active Scotland campaign. The scheme makes it easier and cheaper for you to use council sports and leisure facilities by subscribing to one of our paying monthly memberships.
With our memberships you can have unlimited access to the facilities and classes included in your chosen membership.
We offer 3 memberships:
Active Swim and Active Gym Memberships can be either individual or per household (with an option for Small Households). Live Life Aberdeenshire membership can also be individual or per household.
To subscribe to our monthly memberships, you need to apply for a National Entitlement Card (NEC). The details of your membership will be programmed on your card so that you can swipe it to access any of our participating facilities. If you already have a National Entitlement Card (Yound Scot card, library membership or travel pass), we can add your leisure membership to your existing card.
Please contact your local venue to set up a Monthly Membership.
Applications must be submitted in person and you must bring at least two forms of proof of identity to prove age and address and one of these must include verified photographic evidence. For more information contact your local facility.
If you choose to pay by direct debit, you will also need to provide your bank details (we accept cash, cheques or cards for the initial payment and Direct Debit for the ongoing subscription). You don't need to provide your bank details, if you choose the pay as go monthly option.
You will also need to read the Active Aberdeenshire terms and conditions and the National Entitlement Card terms and conditions before submitting your application.
When subscribing, you commit to at least three full months membership. After that you can choose to cancel.
To cancel, you must notify the Live Life Aberdeenshire membership team by email or in writing (details below) and give us one month notice.
