Music Libraries at Inverurie Library

Along with the Music Education Partnership Group (MPEG), We Make Music Scotland, and Tinderbox we are delighted to provide Music Libraries at Inverurie library for young people in S1 - S4.

Workshops Running from 9th to 30th January

Led by professional musician Sarah Beattie, the workshops will provide an opportunity for budding musicians in S1 - S4 to come along and try out the instruments on offer. The instruments available at the workshops are violins and keyboards.

In this fantastic addition to our services young people will have the opportunity to learn to play the violins and keyboards, guided by an experienced instructor in a fun and supportive environment.

These sessions will provide the opportunity for young people to:

  • Access instruments: We provide violins and keyboards for you to use and borrow during the workshops.
  • Learn from experts: Experience music in a practical way, with lessons tailored to all skill levels.
  • Develop confidence: Develop musical skills and boost self-esteem through creativity and collaboration.
  • Meet other budding musicians: Connect with fellow music enthusiasts in your community.

Please note that the workshops will take place in the upper level which is accessed via stairs or chairlift.
