Music is a powerful form of self-expression and creativity, as well as having a positive effect on a person's wellbeing. The Youth Music Initiative (YMI) is Scotland's commitment to put music at the heart of children and young people’s lives and learning. We believe all children should have the opportunity to experience this, regardless of their background or musical experience. With the continued support of Creative Scotland, Live Life Aberdeenshire's Arts Team will continue to provide young people with high-quality music making experiences with the opportunity to explore music, develop their skills, and gain new knowledge and understanding of music and the music industry.
